Who are we?

Frencken Mechatronics is involved in the development and assembly of industrial systems for the semiconductor industry, the healthcare market and for a wide range of analytical applications. The high-quality precision mechanical components, machine assemblies and vacuum systems are assembled in a cleanroom as well as a non-cleanroom environment. As a service provider, Frencken Mechatronics also produces high-quality precision components and modules for leading clients in the high-tech industry.

What does the position of Team Leader NPI Assembly entail?

In this role, you will lead a team within our assembly department New Product Introduction in the clean room on a daily basis. You are responsible for the quality and timely delivery of products in the proto and pilot phase. You will be involved in managing a team of approximately 24 mechanics divided over 2 shifts, where thinking in solutions and ownership within the team are important. One of your main tasks is to be involved in coordination within the projects, such as adjusting capacity and delivering project deliverables.

Your tasks also include:

• Ensuring a safe working environment and a pleasant working atmosphere within the team;

• Owner of the NPI planning together with the NPI production manager, ensuring the proper execution of the pilot phase;

• Keeping the personnel planning in order so that there are enough mechanics present to meet the demand from projects;

• Training sufficient (Proto) mechanics and creating sufficient knowledge so that the transfer to regular production runs smoothly;

• Bringing NPI products to volume standards and performance;

• Monitoring and improving work processes according to the 6S Lean model.

Are you our new NPI Team Leader?

You know what it takes to properly set up everything in the field of logistics for new products. With your technical background, you can convince all stakeholders very well, but also assess the technical essence of issues. You are a real team player who can clearly see the consequences of supply chain choices. You are proficient both the Dutch and English language.

In addition, you have:

• A completed Bachelor's degree in a technical field.

• A number of years of work experience in a similar position in a high-tech environment;

• Good oral and written knowledge of both Dutch and English;

• Excellent knowledge of Excel.
