Our job

As our Operational Excellence & MPS Lead you will be in charge of leading the change to optimize the business processes, ensuring effective and value added workflows. You conduct research and analysis to identify the strengths and weaknesses of our operations, finding opportunities for improvement. You will develop and execute improvement projects, setting goals and objectives, facilitating the transformation and leading the implementation of the 4DX method in the organization helping teams to execute improvements. Besides leading the operational excellence transformation you are in the lead of the MPS (Master Production Schedule) process and responsible of managing the logistical agreements of the total value chain. Although each business owner (Procurement, Machining, Assembly, NPI Projects) is responsible for its performance and realization of the MPS, you as an MPS lead will have the overall view and responsibility that the value chain is connected and agreements are aligned between the business owners. You being part of the Operations Organization will act as the counterpart of the S&OP lead within sales, ensuring an overall MPS in line with the agreed customer demand.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Lead the regional strategy to standardize policies and procedures to reflect new working methods as for example Lean, in close cooperation with our sites in Asia and US.
  • Manage the Master Production Scheduling process on capacity, machining and materials, together with the responsible departments.
  • Manage and optimize the sales & operations process and the Master Production Scheduling processes in close cooperation with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop standards for internal and customer facing metrics.
  • Design and implement production metrics and management reports
  • In this role you will usually manage multiple projects at the same time.

Your profile

You are an experienced Manager Operational Excellence with highly developed interpersonal skills. With your experience you are a teambuilder and able to inspire, motivate and convince people. Furthermore you have:

  • Master degree in Supply Chain Management, (Industrial) Engineering, Quality management, Program / project management or Business Administration.
  • About 10 years of experience in a comparable industry and role.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and networking skills.
  • Excellent ability to manage change with the ability to overcome resistance and persist in achieving the mission.
  • Conceptual thinker with strong analytical skills
  • Enthusiastic, motivates and empowers colleagues
  • Excellent oral and written command of English and Dutch.
