Senior Production Engineer – Documentation Specialist

As a Senior Production Engineer Documentation Specialist you are responsible for an optimally functioning documentation system within the Production Engineering department. Topics are cleanliness grade 1 and 2, contamination (control) and defectivity.

The job

You describe the production processes from incoming goods to outgoing end product within the business unit Mechatronics. You are also the connecting factor regarding processes between Engineering, Production, Quality/Regulatory departments and the customer.

  • Documentation of processes related to the development and production of high-tech products.
  • Optimization and maintenance of the document management system Quality, Environment, Safety and Health (QESH) regarding Production Engineering matters.
  • Writing and implementing process optimizations.
  • Being point of contact for setting up, reviewing, implementing and progressing the required processes.
  • Validate and classify processes after new product introduction (NPI);

Your profile

  • Technical education at HBO level, preferably mechanical engineering or mechatronics;
  • 5 to 10 years of work experience in the industry of manufacturing and assembling high-quality precision components and machine parts;
  • Basic knowledge of quality systems (ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 14001 and others);
  • Strong organizational skills and an eye for detail;
  • Familiarity with methods within ASML at New Product Introduction (NPI) level is an advantage;
  • Proactive, inspiring and accessible personality with strong communication skills and an open, customer-oriented attitude;
  • Has a strong analytical mind and can work independently in a team;
  • Stimulating and enterprising personality;
  • Command of the English language in word and writing;
