NPI Logistics Engineer

Job description

The introduction of new products into an organization brings quite a lot with it, including on the logistics front. In the role of NPI Logistics Engineer, you are the primary contact for the logistics aspect of such projects. You are responsible for setting up all logistical aspects in the supply chain. For the challenges you encounter in this process, you come up with pragmatic solutions, and together with various stakeholders (including procurement and production engineering), you ensure that all conditions are met to start efficient series production. 

Additionally, you are involved in:

  • Developing logistical concepts including planning;
  • Coordination with various stakeholders;
  • Proactively proposing improvements in efficient supply chain within NPI projects;
  • Monitoring project planning;
  • Tracking changes and following up on their technical and logistical impact.

Are you our NPI Logistics Engineer?

You know what it takes to set up everything well on the logistics front for new products. With your technical background, you can convince all stakeholders effectively and assess the technical essence of issues. You are a true team player who can oversee the consequences of supply chain choices well. 

Additionally, you have:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field, such as Technical Business Administration, preferably supplemented with several years of experience in supply chain planning.
  • Affinity with a high-tech environment;
  • Good oral and written proficiency in both Dutch and English;
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel;
  • Experience in Change and Life Cycle management within a high-tech environment.
